Spring Friends & Allies Summit
Thursday, May 18, 2023
5:00-7:30pm
Laurelhurst Club

As the weather warms and skies clear, it’s time to gather and celebrate the neighbors and community organizations who are working hard to make Portland’s parks and green spaces special, accessible, and more equitable season after season. Join us for an opportunity to meet your fellow parks leaders, local park volunteers, community builders, advocates, and simply the people who are making parks better!

The Portland Parks Foundation, in partnership with PP&R, is bringing our parks communities together on May 18 to recognize your impact, share your stories, and connect with each other. At the summit, we’ll introduce you to all the nominees for PPF’s Parks Champion and the Joey Pope Award for Parks Leadership and announce the 2023 honorees.

Speakers will include City of Portland’s Commissioner of Culture and Livability, Dan Ryan, and storytelling from local parks activators and initiators.

This year, we have extended the evening program for more time for social gathering and connection - so bring a fun colleague, come early and stay late!
