Suzanne Bishop

Suzanne Bishop is a Portland native. She began her path to volunteering and fundraising for, and the study of gardens and greenspace at the John Hay Estate under Bill Noble (who later became the head of the Garden Conservancy of America).  She is a past board member of Ainsworth Foundation and the Oregon Zoo Foundation. She is currently the Garden History & Design Zone Representative for the Garden Club of America and a board member of IN A LANDSCAPE, the annual concert series of “classical music in the wild.” She is an ardent student and frequent lecturer on the history of Oregon gardens and landscapes.
